TUNMAN BEDLINGTON TERRIERS

We have owned Bedlington Terriers for nearly 30 years. I was introduced to and became interested in the breed when my father brought and worked a liver bitch called Blossom.  This led to us bringing home a liver dog called Stuey. I was learning to groom dogs around this time and Blossom and Stuey had many different haircuts. I would often take them to college for the other students to practice on too. The grooming introduced me to the show ring where I saw blue Bedlingtons for the first time and was hooked, then we got pulled in.

Over the years we have enjoyed having several dogs and being involved with the breed. Our line stems from the Rathsrigg and Aireview kennels. We are proud to have bred and made up a homegrown Champion under our Tunman Affix. We are both members of all three UK breed clubs. I serve on the committee of the National Bedlington Terrier Club and Brian serves on the committee of the Midland Bedlington Terrier Club. I have judged for the Bedlington Terrier since 2010. I was approved by the Kennel Club to award Challenge Certificates for the breed in 2021 and next in 2024.
